Toy Rescue Mission
The Toy Rescue Mission helps parents with financial limitations by providing toys and supplies for their children to celebrate birthdays, Easter baskets, Christmas gifts and back to school supplies. Parents who qualify for services can come in and leave with everything they need to make the day special and be the hero, including toys, wrapping paper, bows and even the scotch tape!
The executive director, Martha Davis along with her team of all volunteers work tirelessly to coordinate the donations of new and gently used toys, clean and repair inventory and stock the shelves. TRM is dedicated to bringing smiles to children and the community with gift giving to those most in need.
TRM also serves seniors in assisted living and nursing homes, helps families with Halloween costumes and winter coats and offers diapers for new parents. The program partners with schools, daycares and churches with low-income outreach programs.
Our foundations are proud to continue the partnership with the Toy Rescue Mission to help support their mission to meet the needs of low-income families in our community.
People for Animal Care & Kindness (P.A.C.K.)
P.A.C.K. is a very community driven organization that aims to make a difference in the lives of animals, and often their humans, every single day. They do this through the efforts of several vital programs.
First, and foremost, is the financial aid program to pet owners in three primary categories: seniors, low-income/no income and the unhoused. Medical grants allow these pet owners to often receive life-saving veterinary care for their beloved pets who would otherwise suffer.
Secondly, they are deeply involved in dog rescue, working as a foster-based refuge for unwanted dogs of all ages, many with serious medical issues thus turned away from other rescue groups. P.A.C.K has provided rescue and rehoming to over 150 last year and expect to exceed that number in 2024.
Finally, they support the work of other like-minded non-profit organizations because P.A.C.K believes wholeheartedly in collaboration to further and positively impact animal welfare in our communities.
